About This Event

In partnership with Cub Support and the Modesto High Chia Club, Equity Heartbeats brought joy to all 334 students at James Marshall Elementary School in Modesto, CA. Every child received a gift, ensuring that no student was left out during this special celebration.

James Marshall Elementary serves a community where 74.6% of students are socioeconomically disadvantaged and 21% are English Learners. Our toy drive aimed to bring smiles and create lasting memories for these incredible students.

The Impact

From sports equipment to stuffed animals, educational games to books, each gift was carefully selected to bring joy and encourage learning. Students had the opportunity to choose items that resonated with them, creating a personalized and meaningful experience.

Seeing the excitement and happiness on every child's face reminded us why this work matters. Every student deserves to feel valued, celebrated, and cared for—especially during the holidays.
