Back at the Gurdwara
On March 8th, 2026, Equity Heartbeats returned to Gurdwara Guru Nanak Sikh Temple in Fairfield for a second free health screening. After a strong turnout in February, familiar faces came back to check their progress, and new neighbors joined for the first time.

What We Offered
As in February, every participant received a full set of vital-sign checks along with practical guidance on managing their results.
Vital Sign Monitoring:
- Blood pressure screening
- Blood glucose screening
- Temperature check
- Oxygen saturation (SpO2)
- Heart rate monitoring
Education & Demonstrations:
- Blood pressure management
- Glucose management
- Osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) demonstrations
Why It Matters
Seeing familiar faces return, and new ones arrive, told us this is working. When care is free, close to home, and offered with respect, people show up and take charge of their health. Two events in, we're committed to making these screenings a regular part of life in Fairfield.
